This big lightobject was made in commission of a friend Ted. He wanted me to make this for his partner. Ted had Alzheimer but died afther falling down the stairs. He didn t see this lightobject finished. Underneath this lamp I desided to create a memorialnfor Ted. To remind his partner that this was a gift. So I searched for two dolls and made them look like thes great guy's. I aranged a kind of picknick situation. Lying in the gras, barefooted. So when we went constructing this lamp Jan wasn t aloud to look until it hang and the light was going to be switched on. He couldn t see at first of course, but as he saw what was hidden away he bursted out in tears. These are the moments that I create for. Tuching people with your art that cones so easy for you is the best ever!!! 👵🏼❤️❤️❤️🎨 #art #joy #light #die #alzheimer
